Through a level test and consultation, we match your child with the right curriculum level and teacher. Classes are booked in 4-week blocks, and the homeroom teacher sends a progress report every quarter.

Class level and schedule are set through the level test and consultation. Every class includes the homeroom teacher's quarterly progress report.
How classes are managed
Class management
- Subject teachers run a curriculum matched to your child's level
- The Semonemo team regularly observes classes to maintain and improve quality
Homework
- We check homework completion carefully every week
- Complete homework and send a photo of it via KakaoTalk
Progress Report
- The homeroom teacher emails a progress report to parents every quarter
- Reports follow the US Common Core (CCSS) standards
Notices
- Homework deadlines and instructions are shared in each class's KakaoTalk group after class
- Students and teachers agree on 1–2 weekly 1:1 class times and attend every class
Refund policy
- If a class is interrupted for reasons on the teacher's side (internet, device, or material issues), or the teacher does not hold a class without prior notice, the class is not counted.
- If a student will miss a class, please contact the teacher at least 24 hours before class. The teacher will decide whether to count the class or schedule a make-up session, and let the student and parents know.
- If a student misses class with less than 24 hours' notice, the class is counted and no make-up session is available.
- If you cancel before the first class, we refund 95% of the payment (5% covers payment processing).
- After the first class has started, instead of a cash refund, we return the remaining classes × the per-class price as account credit. If issues come up, we will work actively with you through the program director or consultation teacher to find a solution.
