SEMONEMO SCIENCE Program
Semonemo Science
Online classes for U.S. middle and high school science, taught in English
Parents and students can choose the right level themselves, with a consultation or our course guide.

The Semonemo Science Program
Semonemo Science classes cover science in depth while making a subject many students find difficult easy to understand. Our specialist educators closely study how students learn science, and research and develop a complete curriculum — from what each grade and semester requires, all the way from early childhood to college-prep exams.
Confidence is the single most important ingredient in learning science. The Semonemo science team focuses on helping students stay on track and study in the right direction — whether they are following a science curriculum in an English-speaking country, or are currently abroad and planning to return to Korea.
We use foundational science theory — including core science vocabulary and STEAM learning — so students can apply it effectively and improve. We also plan science study using AI tools such as ChatGPT. The Semonemo science team is focused on building programs that help each student form their own foundation for scientific thinking.
A Great Fit For
- Elementary, middle, and high school students who want to properly learn their English-speaking school's science subjects in English
- Students who want to preview or review school science and build solid concepts
- High school students preparing intensively for AP Chemistry or AP Biology
- Students returning from abroad who want to keep up with their science education
- Students who need 1:1 science lessons tailored to their level
Choose a Class Type
Choose between group classes and 1:1 classes. Group classes follow a fixed curriculum; 1:1 classes are built around the student's level.

Group Classes
All tuition is per 4 weeks
A group class opens once at least 3 students have enrolled. Group classes are currently offered for middle and high school only; for elementary science, please request a 1:1 class.
Group placement is made after a check of the student's progress. Students currently in 1:1 classes can also ask about switching to a group class.

Group class minimum · as of each class's start date
No limit
Maximum class size
- If fewer than 3 enroll, we'll consult with you about a private class instead.
- Parents and students can choose the right level themselves, with a consultation or our course guide.
1:1 private classes available
Every class can also be taken as a private 1:1 class instead of a group class, with the schedule and pace set for your child.
How classes work
- Student page
- After enrolling, you'll get a link to your child's student page. Join class, find class materials, and watch past class recordings — all in one place. Bookmark it on your child's device.
- Homework
- Each class's teacher shares homework and feedback.
- Absences and make-ups
- Missed classes still count toward your enrolled classes. For group classes, your child can catch up with the recording. If something comes up, please let the teacher know in advance — the teacher may not count the class or may schedule a make-up.
- Refunds
- See section 5 (Refunds) of our Terms of Service.
