Wordly Wise Lv.2 - Lv. 7

Vocabulary is the foundation of learning English. Building vocabulary means being able to use words well. The key to learning words that last a lifetime is acquiring them the way we learn our first language.

SEMONEMO Wordly Wise aims to build vocabulary that directly supports students' schoolwork at each grade. Each class has two parts: a 25-minute word lesson with the lead teacher and a 50-minute workbook session with a coach. In the first part, students learn new words and their meanings and usage with the lead teacher. In the second, they practice using those words in many contexts under the coach's guidance. With a focus on thinking in English and practical use, students learn to use new words naturally and appropriately in real communication.

Who it's for

Parent reviews

  • “Thank you for the report that captures my child's learning in such detail. My child enjoys the classes with the teacher even more than the lessons themselves. … Since starting Semonemo, my child finished the school's ESL program in just one year, and their state NWEA test results grew remarkably within that year.”

  • “Thanks to the teacher, my child enjoyed every class. Beyond detailed explanations of each word and how it's used in sentences, the teacher connected the words to my child's own experiences and thoughts. Extra materials and links after class kept my child curious and studying. My child also built a lot of background knowledge.”

    Translated from Korean

  • “Semonemo's classes have been a big help. My child's recent school report card showed perfect marks in English areas such as writing and reading. I think it's thanks to Semonemo.”

  • “The class is already over! My child worked hard, and watching from the side, it was clearly a worthwhile class. My child says they learned many new words and had fun.”

Homework
Each class's teacher shares homework and feedback.
Absences and make-ups
Missed classes still count toward your enrolled classes. For group classes, your child can catch up with the recording. If something comes up, please let the teacher know in advance — the teacher may not count the class or may schedule a make-up.
